Guide Books

Some books to get you into the Tuscan Groove :)

Tuscany Guide Books

Here a selection of guide Books we looked at:

DK Eyewitness Travel Guide: Florence & Tuscany
The cheapest guide we could find and it’s pretty much up to date (2011). It’s layout needs a little bit of time to get used to but it’s good.

The Rough Guide to Tuscany and Umbria
Easy to read, shame it’s three years out of date (2009) but still has some good information

Lonely Planet Tuscany and Umbria
Not our first choice but always worth having a look. It’s an easy read and well structured but most places in this book will most certainly already been visited by millions of other travelers. It’s up to date (January 2012).

Siena & Southern Tuscany (Footprint Focus)
We love these guide books! Well structured and good to read, this is one we are going to get our hands on as soon as it comes out (1st Edtion will come out in April this year).
